This program focuses on youth apprenticeships in metalwork
To say, metalworking is the hallmark of industrial civilization would not be stretching the truth. Many of the world’s advanced economies were birthed on the bedrock of solid to create everything from simple household items to complex machinery and industrial equipment. It is a lack of this foundation that keeps some emerging economies still dependent on export of metal furniture in large quantities, much to the detriment of their local economies. The AIM Ghana Project is targeted at young, mechanically inclined Ghanaians who like to work with their hands and are looking for a quick-start career opportunity.
