J.N. Halm is a successful business consultant and entrepreneur. He is also multiple award-winning service experience consultant and trainer. He is a former Head of Marketing, Corporate Affairs and Customer Service of National Investment Bank Limited where he was responsible for the internal rebranding of the bank in 2011. His work then resulted in the change in the Bank’s vision, mission and core values, as well as corporate communications directives.

J.N. Halm trained more than 500 start-ups in the Central Region in 2020. This was as part of the Government of Ghana’s quest to empower small business at the community level through the Presidential Business Support Program of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), under the Ministry of Business Development.

Mr. Halm has also trained employees of several organisations including GT Bank, Consolidated Bank Ghana, Zenith Bank, Agricultural Development Bank, Opportunity International, Ghana Maritime Authority, StarLife Assurance, Best Western Premier Accra Airport Hotel, KIMO Home, TV3, etc.

J.N. Halm is a prolific writer and a columnist for Business and Financial Times, Ghana’s top business newspaper. He is also the author of two award-winning books, CUSTOMER ROMANCE and SERVICE SINS. He won the Service Excellence Leader Award at the 2019 Global Brands Awards, held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Mr. Halm also serves as the Chief Content Officer of Service and Experience, a platform that provides thought leadership in customer service and customer experience. Service and Experience is a dedicated team of customer experience professionals actively creating content, developing resources and tools as well as providing opportunities for all those interested in designing unforgettable customer experiences.

J.N. Halm has contributed chapters to a number of acclaimed academic textbooks such as Customer Service Management in Africa (2020), Digital Service Delivery in Africa: Platforms and Practices (2022) and Marketing Communications and Brand Development in Emerging Economies (2022).

Mr. Halm holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture with a specialization in Agricultural Economics from KNUST. He also holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana. He has post-graduate certificates in Public Relations, Customer Service, Human Resource Management, etc.
